The first step to becoming a certified coach is understanding the different levels of available credentials. The most common coaching credentials and pathways:
ACC (Associate Certified Coach):
- Entry-level credential offered by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Requirements include 60+ hours of coaching education, 100+ hours of coaching experience, and 10 hours of mentor coaching.

IECL offers an ACC/Level 1 Pathway, providing all the education and mentor coaching required while candidates gain coaching experience.
PCC (Professional Certified Coach):

Intermediate credential by the ICF.

125+ hours of coaching education, 500+ hours of coaching experience, and additional mentor coaching hours.

MCC (Master Certified Coach):
